LADE: A New Approach to the Lebanese Elections

Comprehensive Representation

LADE had the voice, we were tasked to create its visual representation. The challenge was to take on a complex process and make it as simple as possible so that it’s clear enough for anyone to understand. We needed to give their project an identity in order to create a recurring set of communication tools that they could use for any presentation or event. Our identity solution was the use of a bespoke Arabic typeface with a bold edge, modern colors that caught the eye of the reader/viewer, and an excessive use of icons that drew in graphics what the text was meant to say. The process was then interpreted with a steady balance of words and graphics. The flexibility of the identity enabled us to create different executions for different uses. From basic print elements such as brochures and posters, to presentation, to an animated video, we were able to customize and present the process in a way that was both simple and engaging.

Distinctive Simplicity

We designed a poster for their info event. The poster had to stand out, but at the same time be simple enough to engage the mass public.

Interactive Spirit

We were also tasked to portray the project in presentation format, and this included all of the information mentioned in the brochure. We made sure the presentation itself was interactive at core in order to simplify the explanation and grab the viewer’s attention.

The Importance of Fitting In

When it comes to explaining processes, there are usually so many things to cover, and so little space to fit all the information in, especially for brochures. We had to come up with ways to effectively position all the steps and details, all the while keeping it as user-friendly and interactive as possible.
